Danzi Daji is new generation Tibetan actor born in Ganzi Sichuan in 1996 who moved to Shanghai to fulfil his dream to study at the Shanghai Theatre Academy.

He is known for his roles in the films ‘Melting’, ‘The Story of Red Arm’, ‘Summer Bones’, ‘I am a Zombie’ and the 2019 film ‘The Climbers’ directed by Daniel Lee, where Danzi played as a member of the Tibetan climbing team attempting to climb Mount Everest.

Recently Danzi got involved in a project to support Boccia athletes by singing the song ‘Will to Heal’ written by Natalie Tjahja, founder of Maria Monique Lastwish Foundation who initiated the Boccia Asian Para Games in 2018. The song is dedicated to boccia athletes from all over the world.

Danzi will be performing the song with Wuqiang, a legendary Chinese singer known for his famous song Ji Shi Xin Le (At this Moment) and Mo Sheng Ren (Stranger). They will record the song in the near future in Shanghai.

“I am so glad be part of this charity project to sing for Boccia athletes” Danzi said.

The song ‘Will to Heal’ was originally recorded in 2018 by Beam Voranan Bhirombhakdi, the winner of the American Protege Vocal Competition 2018, to support Boccia Asian Para Games held also in 2018.
