[sundaytimes=Chris reporter] Indonesia Embassy held an event “A Journey through ‘Sulawesi’ island” with other Embassy peoples, Indonesia Embassy officers and their families and other related peoples.
The island ‘Sulawesi’ is the 11th biggest island in the world and the people watched short movie from three provinces “West Sulawesi’, 'Central Sulawesi’ and ‘North Sulaesi’.
Then the children models and adults models showed great Ethnic Custumes in the fashion show and the people took a group photo.
After that the Indonesia Embassy officer showed how to cook “Ayam Rica-rica” (Rica-rica chicken) in real and the people could taste “Ayam Rica-rica” (Rica-rica chicken) in a buffet luncheon at the end.
Espeically, Every people including Madam Nila, the ambassadress danced “Poco-poco Dance” together which is a popular line dance from North Sulawesi with joyful music.
After all, people exchanged their business card and had a friendly talk and also had a wonderful buffet luncheon.
Today’s luncheon was prepared with some handmade food from some participants such as Kimchi and Korean rice cake and people also tasted ‘Rica-rica Chicken’ which showed the people during the event.
The officer of Indonesia Embassy said “Madam Nila, the ambassadress has been preparing this event with a great interest and attention. This event have been helding every month, we hope to spread out beautiful Indonesia to the people with this event and the people also have a great time to know about beautiful Indonesia together.”
